The tribesmen were pleasantly surprised to see the Punjab Chief Minister among themselves.  According to media reports, on his return from Dera Ghazi, the Punjab Chief Minister suddenly landed a helicopter on the ground and met the tribesmen.

On this occasion, the tribesmen were surprised to see the Chief Minister of Punjab among them.  The Punjab Chief Minister inquired from the tribesmen about their problems.  Earlier, Usman Bazdar inspected the construction work of Sardar Fateh Muhammad Bazdar Institute of Cardiology in Dera Ghazi Khan.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said that the people of South Punjab would get medical treatment from the institute.

The Institute of Cardiology is a gift to the people of Dera Ghazi Khan.  The Institute of Cardiology will be completed on time, and people from Balochistan and Sindh will also be able to seek treatment at the institute.  It may be recalled that the Punjab Chief Minister attended the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Irrigation Department and Nespak today.  It has been informed that feasibility study will be carried out for construction of small and intermediate dams on 13 Hill Toronto. The latest drone survey technique will be used for construction of dams.

Addressing the signing ceremony of the MoU, the Punjab Chief Minister said that the pilot project would be launched in June this year. The construction of the dam would provide water to more than 200,000 acres of land and reduce the risk of floods and losses.
